Last weekend, we traveled to Mobile, Alabama, to participate in the biannual Collaborative meeting. This meeting occurs every two years, providing Collaborative membership organizations the opportunity to discuss our collective progress in combatting DIPG, future target areas concerning research funding, and potential initiatives that might benefit our respective organizations.
This year was incredibly impactful. We attended the annual Lemon Face Gala hosted by Aubreigh's Army, where over $170,000 was raised, benefitting DIPG research! Our hosts also welcomed us with a taste of a Mobile-style Mardi Gras parade through the center of downtown Mobile.
We left this year's conference reinvigorated, having discussed exciting, cutting-edge research that is gearing up for clinical trials and public discussion. Additionally, we returned home with new ideas and initiatives that will promote further growth of Abby's Corner as we fight together to end DIPG.
